Virtual Tours of Classrooms

While many of you won't have your class assignments, if you do feel free to check out this link, which allows you to preview OSU classrooms. If you don't have an assignment there's a good chance that you'll be teaching in Central Classrooms on the second floor, s0 take a peek.

Classroom Previews

It's drop-down listing of all the classrooms you might get assigned to teach in. You simply select the building and room number for the classroom you've been assigned to, and you can then see the technology available and (in most cases) several pictures of the classroom itself. It might save some of you a phone call (and perhaps more importantly, eliminate unnecessary human interaction...)

OSU is maintaining links to several student blogs. While these students are in different places academically than your 110 students, I think these links provide some insight into the culture and student body of OSU. I thought it was something a first year teacher might want to check out.
