Columbus, OH is Ice Cream Heaven. If you don't believe me check out this article from the Denver Post (random), featuring Jeni's Ice Creams a few years ago. If you're not into funky flavors then check out Denise's in Clintonville and Grater's, which originated in Columbus.

I would also like to say, for those of us that want to eat icey treats all the time but worry about the healthiness (or lack thereof), Jeni's has outstanding frozen yogurt! Some of the flavors don't sound as exotic/interesting, but they're still delish. And, if you're new to Columbus (or old to Columbus and just haven't gone there), Jeni's is a hit with any and all visitors--from parents, to friends, to younger siblings. Which proves, I suppose, that we all really do scream for ice cream...at least when that ice cream is Jeni's!
