Hello

My name is Hannah Langhoff, and I am a first-year MFA student specializing in fiction. I've spent most of my life in small towns; except for a month studying in Vienna, this is the first time I've lived in a major city.

Not surprisingly for a writer, I read and daydream a lot. I'm also an opera buff--one of my coolest experiences this year (besides starting grad school) was seeing a double bill of Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Just to jump on the bandwagon, here is a picture of my cat. He's with my parents in Indiana, and I miss him.
